LACOSTE TAPS BOURY: Laurent Boury has joined Lacoste as vice president of marketing for North America.
Most recently, Boury was vice president, marketing, North America for Luxottica. Before that, he spent 15 years at Unilever working across multiple brands and geographic locations including France, the U.K. and the U.S. His last role was global vice president, markets, for the Dove brand, based in New York.
At Lacoste, Boury reports to Joelle Grunberg, president and chief executive officer of Lacoste North America. He oversees all marketing, communications, advertising, public relations, social media, visual merchandising and trade and retail marketing efforts for the North American market.
Lacoste is making a significant marketing investment in North America this year with a focus on sports marketing through major golf and tennis partnerships to elevate the brand image and further accelerate growth in this key region for the brand.
