MAYBELLINE SERIES: IMG’s Made to Measure has developed a branded content series for Maybelline New York that launched today as part of New York Fashion Week. The series airs on M2M.tv and on the channel across Apple TV, Roku, Hulu and Amazon.
The series focuses on three diverse women: transgender actress and model Hari Nef; curvy model Barbie Ferreira, and musician Princess Nokia (also known as Destiny Nicole Frasqueri) and was filmed by IMG client Luke Gilford, a photographer and filmmaker.
In M2M’s “Maybelline New York Presidents: A New York Minute” series, the women star in their own vignette, revealing how they are making their dreams a reality. The women were selected to appeal to different communities within fashion, showcasing diversity and the challenges and obstacles they have had to overcome to succeed. Maybelline New York’s products are inter-weaved into the story.
Previously, Maybelline partnered with M2M on a series called “Beauty Alchemist,” which launched last September, as well as the brand’s presentation of M2M’s first original documentary, “Battle at Versailles.” Other brands that have committed to the M2M platform include Marc Jacobs, which partnered with M2M on the second season of “Off Book,” and Valentino, which worked with M2M on the short film “Valentino: Inside the Factory,” where then co-creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli shared their pre-fall 2016 collection.
