Martha Stewart has entered the fast-growing meal-kit delivery market with the launch of Martha & Marley Spoon.
Sequential Brands Group Inc. and Marley Spoon, Inc. said Tuesday they have teamed for Martha & Marley Spoon, a meal-kit delivery service that features Martha Stewart’s recipes and smart cooking techniques. Delivered and designed with simple weeknight cooking in mind, Martha & Marley Spoon provides recipes and pre-portioned seasonal ingredients that reflect Stewart’s passion for nutritious and creative home cooking.
“Our everyday lives demand better weeknight cooking solutions,” said Stewart. “Families are busier than ever, and it is incredibly important that everyone has the ability to cook wholesome dinners that can maximize quality time together every night of the week.”
Sequential owns the Martha Stewart media and merchandising properties.

The meal kits, available to order through marleyspoon.com, feature ingredients such as meats from Pat LaFrieda, dairy from Vermont Creamery, sausages and cured meats from Brooklyn Cured, condiments from Sparrow Lane and cheeses from Murray’s Cheese. Meals can be prepared and cooked in less than 40 minutes, and customers can choose from a changing weekly menu. Home cooks have the option to select a two-person box, or a family box.
Marley Spoon was found in 2014 by Fabian Siegel and Till Neatby, and has since launched operations in seven markets across three continents. Marley Spoon has received $33 million in funding to date, with an additional $44 million in media volume.
