The Tie Bar has tapped Tim Grace as its newest vice president of e-commerce. In the new role, Grace will head technology, acquisition and retention, while also creating a more personalized experience for the site.
Grace comes from Trunk Club, where he was head of product and had significant role on the company’s growth and eventual acquisition by Nordstrom. There, he led the development of their technology platform, which enabled the brand’s personal stylists to deliver one-on-one consultations.
Grace previously worked in leadership roles at the marketing automation start-up, Signal, in addition to consumer marketplaces such as cars.com and apartments.com.
“I look forward to continuing to disrupt the men’s accessories market by helping more guys look great for less,” said Grace.
