Sunny Diego is back at Saks Fifth Avenue.
The longtime men’s wear merchant, who had spent 18 years at the upscale retailer, has returned to the company as vice president and divisional merchandise manager of men’s sportswear.
Most recently, Diego was chief merchant at Lividini & Co., where she will be succeeded by Adam Lefkowitz as vice president of merchandising and business development.
Diego joined Saks in 1994 and served as fashion director of women’s footwear, accessories, jewelry and intimate apparel as well as men’s fashion director. She was also a buyer of women’s footwear, men’s accessories and men’s designer clothing and had been vice president and dmm of product development over the men’s area when she left the store in 2012. While in the product development area, Diego is credited with helping to launch the SFA Men’s Collection, now the store’s largest men’s vendor.
She joined LF USA as chief merchant and senior vice president of merchandising in the men’s division for two years before joining Lividini & Co. in January.

At Lividini & Co., Lefkowitz assumes the merchant responsibilities and will also be charged with developing new business opportunities. He will report to Lynette Harrison Brubaker, partner and chief marketing officer.
Lefkowitz was most recently director of strategic merchandising and business development for Li & Fung. He has also been with Scoop as a women’s buyer and began his career at Saks where he also bought several women’s categories.
