PARIS — L’Oréal has created a general management structure for activities in France to leverage its strategic opportunities there, and appointed Hervé Navellou to head up the organization.
The executive, now general manager of L’Oréal France, also maintains his role as president of the Western Europe zone for the group’s Consumer Products Division and additionally becomes general manager of the Consumer Products Division in France.
“The L’Oréal France general management team will supervise the shared services for all different entities as well as the country management committee comprising the general managers of the four divisions in France and the corporate functions,” L’Oréal stated.
Prior to his role as the Consumer Products Division’s president for the Western Europe zone, Navellou was, between 2010 and 2013, general manager of the Consumer Products Division in France. Starting in 2008 he served as country manager in Mexico, and before that held Consumer Products Division roles such as general manager of the Asia zone, director of the Latin America zone and brand general manager in Belgium and Germany. The executive joined L’Oréal in 1986.
