LONDON — The London-based executive search firm Lewis Alexander has named Kat Nadj director of design and creative practice, a new role.
Nadj, who will take up her post on Sept. 16, most recently worked at Kering in human resources where she oversaw recruiting for brands including Alexander McQueen and Stella McCartney.
Nadj will report directly to Lewis Alexander, the firm’s founder. She will work with fashion houses on creative director and senior designer appointments and organizational structure.
In addition, Nadj will be mentoring emerging designers on building their labels, and working with schools including Central Saint Martins, Parsons, The New School for Design, and Fashion Institute of Technology Paris.
“The time has come to expand our structure to enable future growth. The appointment of Kat Nadj is a natural choice: She has a rare eye for design talent and is respected industry-wide, including by the late Louise Wilson and all the international schools, as well as key creative and business leaders,” said Alexander.
