There are more changes afoot at Henkel AG. The consumer goods giant, which loses its chief executive officer Kasper Rorsted to Adidas as of April 30, has named a new head for its beauty-care division to complement its incoming ceo.
Pascal Houdayer will move from his current role as corporate senior vice president in Henkel’s laundry and home-care unit to assume the position. Henkel’s current executive vice president of beauty care is Hans Van Bylen, who was named as Rorsted’s successor to lead the company last month.
Houdayer will be appointed to Henkel’s management board on March 1. Both Houdayer and Van Bylen start their new roles at the company on May 1.
Pascal Houdayer joined Henkel in 2011, and has overseen international marketing for the home-care business, as well as digital activities and the Asia-Pacific region for the laundry and home-care division. Prior to joining Henkel, Houdayer was employed in various international management positions for Procter & Gamble.
