PARIS — Damir Doma has named Jérémy Rocher chief executive officer of his Paris-based brand effective immediately, WWD has learned.
Rocher, currently Doma’s majority shareholder, succeeds Stephan Wembacher, co-founder of Paper Rain, a Swiss-based investment fund that helped set up the label.
Rocher is a member of the Yves Rocher family, which runs the eponymous cosmetics group along with French brand Petit Bateau, which he helped develop internationally. He was previously a vice president at Doma.
“We couldn’t have reached the position we are in today without Stephan Wembacher, who believed in the brand from the start and remains a partner. Jérémy, who has been a shareholder for the past four years, will help us reach the next level,” said Doma, adding the brand has seen a lot of development in a very short time.
