Apple Inc.’s annual address on Wednesday has diehard fans speculating over what the company will unveil on the product front — with many expecting a new version of Apple TV, updates to the iPhone 6 and a larger iPad to launch.
Whatever they roll out will likely be a success. But the company’s real breadwinner remains its iPhone, which garnered about 70 percent of the company’s fourth-quarter sales last year. And it continues to generate a huge amount of revenue. Indeed, second-quarter sales of Apple’s iPhone totaled $31.4 billion, which is larger than the total quarterly revenue of many other tech companies.
