For the 2025 holiday season, Rado has released its three newest timepieces that embody an alpine sense of adventure. Set in its winter wonderland home, the Swiss watchmakers have unveiled the new Rado True Square Open Heart, Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph and Centrix Diamonds.
Rado said the three new timepieces represent the expertise of the brand — in reflection of its master of materials ethos — with its contemporary approach to design, cutting-edge materials and modern approach to its Swiss watchmaking heritage.
The accompanying campaign storytelling encourages Rado watch wearers to “feel the moment,” as the three new timepieces capture the “magic, mystery and meaning of the festive season.”
In the dazzling winter, the True Square Open Heart — with its polished high-tech white ceramic case, crown and bracelet; diamond-like granular finish (a bespoke Rado fabrication technique) on a rhodium-hued dial, and its 12 Top Wesselton, VS-SI, full-cut diamond — emulates the sparkle of snowflakes and the chilly mountain air.
The Open Heart design allows the wearer an inside look into the R734 caliber automatic movement inside. The mechanical craftsmanship and the distinct design personify the snow-covered landscape.
Within the golden cavern, the Captain Cook High-Tech Ceramic Chronograph is found to light the darkness from within the heart of the mountain. With its contemporary style resembling golden stars on a clear night’s sky, the watch is two-toned black high-tech ceramic, polished components against the matte case.
To elevate the sports chronograph, its rose gold embellishments give the timepiece an opulent aesthetic. With its R801 caliber automatic movement and 59-hour power reserve, the watch provides accuracy, water resistance up to 300 meters — for adventures in both altitude and depth.
The Centrix Diamonds personifies extravagance and elegance. The watch’s diamond-filled bezel setting reflects the timepiece’s 11 Top Wesselton, VS-SI, full-cut diamonds and its naturally occurring gemstones and its brown mother-of-pearl dial.
Set on a rose gold bracelet, the fine Swiss watch features polished brown high-ceramic middle links with a case diameter of 35mm. The piece merges the worlds of watches and jewelry to create a glow reminiscent of the seasonal spirit.
“At Rado, the festive season is a celebration of timeless design, innovation and meaningful gifting. We’re confident that our iconic products will continue to resonate with those who value design, precision and emotional connection.
