Since its founding in 1988, the driving ethos of Frederique Constant (now part of Citizen Watch Group) has been to make the world of horological mastery approachable to watch lovers and connoisseurs alike.
Notably, the Swiss maison boasts 34 in-house manufactured calibers.
This year at the 2026 Watches and Wonders in Geneva, the brand is showcasing its latest versions of the flagship Classic Worldtimer Manufacture alongside two new “glam chic” Classics Manchette editions. Niels Eggerding, chief executive officer of Frederique Constant, told Fairchild Studio that the Worldtimer has become a contemporary watchmaking icon and cornerstone of Frederique Constant since its launch in 2012.

The new Manufacture FC-719 Caliber is redesigned — featuring an extended 72-hour power reserve, new 40mm diameter case and date-free dials. With only 24 components, the Classic Worldtimer Manufacture is a celebration of simplicity.
Frederique Constant created its first diamond-set Worldtimer with 70 diamonds on the bezel and 12 diamond-set indexes on the dial. Only 88 individually numbered pieces have been made. Two other non-set options feature navy blue oceans and a city with a grey-grained relief and a gradient blue for oceans with a taupe-grained relief.
The two new Classics Manchette have been given a rebellious twist; both designs include the classic Clou de Paris decoration. The gold-colored finish has a turquoise mineral dial, while the steel bracelet is paired with a mint-green dial.
Breaking with traditional watchmaking conventions has always been the Frederique Constant way, Eggerding explained. The Classic Worldtimer Manufacture is a Swiss-made complication with “unmatched added value” and the Classics Manchette is an innovation with design playing into the “paradoxical nature” of contemporary classicism.
“At Frederique Constant, we see time as an object of passion. It is not measured by the fleeting excitement of trends. Quite the opposite; it is a long-term vision. These timepieces reflect our brand’s heritage by evolving our most signature designs with modern technical improvements and bold new aesthetics. We stay true to our distinctive positioning within the watch industry, offering a Swiss-made proposition with high added value,” concluded Eggerding.
