Since 2002, British watchmaker Bremont has been crafting highly durable tool watches. The company is the only one that makes watches end-to-end in England — from their design and development to assembly, testing and servicing.
The newest collection unveiled at the 2026 Watches and Wonders is the Supernova — with Bremont set to send the first British watch to the moon. Supernova, a space-inspired line, is an expansion of Bremont’s Sea, Land and Air collections. Davide Cerrato, chief executive officer of Bremont, told Fairchild Studio that this is a leap forward for the watchmaker’s product development.
In collaboration with aerospace company Astrolab, the Supernova Chronograph has been embedded within Astrolab’s FLIP rover, which will travel to and remain on the moon’s surface as a lasting artifact.
The rover is scheduled to land on the lunar southern pole this summer.
“The launch of Supernova marks a pivotal moment for Bremont — opening a new chapter filled with ambition, adventure and discovery; the introduction to our fourth product universe – Space,” Cerrato said. “Its highly technical execution pays tribute to the limitless spirit of space travel, exploration and engineering. It embodies Bremont’s vision through luminous performance and extraordinary precision.”
With the integrated-bracelet sports chronograph, its 41mm size features a geometric 904L steel case architecture for a contemporary look, three-dimensional dial design and multi-faceted black ceramic bezel.
Cerrato explained that the chronograph evokes the ethos of the brand by combining cutting-edge design, technical mastery, durability and comfort.
One of the standout features of the Supernova is its dial, placed over a layer of Super LumiNova — with a grid-like structure of the detailed geometric dial taking inspiration from solar arrays and solar sail panels. The dial’s blue glow takes its cues from the luminescent energy of spacecraft.
“Since its inception Bremont has had a deep rooted passion for aviation and exploration. Space represents the natural next frontier in that journey. The Supernova collection marks a significant milestone, reflecting Bremont’s commitment to pushing boundaries in design, engineering and performance. Built with the highest quality materials and techniques, these watches embody the brand’s longstanding ethos of durability, reliability and exploration — with a bold new chapter that extends Bremont’s legacy in the skies into the next frontier,” concluded Cerrato.
