Another supplement brand has officially been snapped up.
Imaraïs Beauty, a supplement line launched in 2021 by Nutrabolics cofounder Aaron Hefter and fronted by fitness influencer Sommer Ray, has been acquired by Nevada-based supplement and nutraceuticals company Healthy Extracts (OTCQB: HYEX).
Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Healthy Extracts is publicly traded via the OTCQB venture market, which is designed for early stage and midlevel companies. Its 2025 revenues came in at $4.5 million, while in the first quarter of 2026, the company brought in $1.6 million.
Imaraïs joins other wellness brands Gummy USA, BergametNA and Ultimate Brain Nutrients in the Healthy Extracts portfolio.
“There’s a huge plan to be able to grow Imaraïs in the right way, and the marriage of our two companies is perfect for that,” said Duke Pitts, president and chief operating officer of Healthy Extracts.
Imaraïs is best known for its clean hair, skin and youth-boosting gummies, which sell for about $25 for a pack of 30 servings. The brand sells online at Ulta Beauty and in store at Target and Sprouts Farmers Market in the U.S.; Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada, and Boots in the U.K. This summer, Imaraïs will enter 4,400 CVS Pharmacy locations across the U.S.
Further expansion into the Middle East and Australia are also on the horizon.
“We’re a very retail-focused brand, and the beauty of Imaraïs is we’re absolutely omnichannel,” said Hefter, who will continue as president of Imaraïs and will also serve as chief branding officer of Healthy Extracts. “We can live in so many different environments — a beauty retail environment like Ulta; a drug environment like CVS or Shoppers Drug Mart, a grocery environment, even a medspa — our demographic is extremely vast.”
“Acquisition is going to be paramount to our growth,” said Healthy Extracts chief executive officer and chairman Don Swanson. “Imaraïs positions us in a great spot to build our market share in the health and beauty market.”
The acquisition is the latest in a string of deals in the wellness and functional foods space. In recent months alone, Unilever snapped up supplement brand Grüns; Herbalife acquired Bioniq, and Lucille Health raised a multimillion-dollar round led by Iris Ventures.
Said Ray, who is chief innovation officer at Imaraïs: “Imaraïs Beauty has always been built on the idea that beauty should feel simple, consistent, and enjoyable, not complicated or performative. Long term, I want Imaraïs Beauty to help set a new standard for the beauty industry that prioritizes transparency, ingredient integrity and honesty.”
