PARIS — Beauty by Clinica Ivo Pitanguy has introduced Specifics, a two-product line for women over 40 who want to put off cosmetic surgery or prolong its effects.
Ultimate Repair Cream and Ultimate Eye Cream are the brand’s first products specifically intended for this age group and are richer both in actives and hydrating ingredients than its existing offer.
Gisela Pitanguy, daughter of the surgeon and director of the cosmetics brand, noted the initiative “involves traveling to the brand’s 200 or so points-of-sale worldwide to interact with customers. I meet customers and potential clients to listen to their needs and explain our philosophy,” she added.
Ultimate Repair Cream includes Gold Repair complex, a mix of peptides that’s designed to stimulate collagen; gold particles, and natural actives including physalis, millet shoots, ceratonia and shea butter. Ultimate Eye Cream, meanwhile, includes a peptide-ceramide complex mixed with rose butter to restore genetic markers and repair collagen and elastin, as well as white lupin for its decongestant properties.
The products are priced at 225 euros and 129 euros, respectively, or $294.40 and $168.79 at current exchange. Beauty by Clinica Ivo Pitanguy is carried at Neiman Marcus and Bergdorf Goodman in the U.S.
