TOKYO — Shiseido plans to launch the Za skin care and makeup brand in Japan this September, the beauty giant said today.
Za is currently sold in other Asian countries, such as China, Taiwan, Thailand, Vietnam, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as New Zealand.
Launched in 1997, it is positioned as a masstige brand targeting women in their 20s.
The lineup will consist of 19 products, with retail prices ranging from 630 yen to 1,260 yen, or $7.96 to $15.93 at current exchange. It will be available in roughly 300 stores within the first year of the introduction.
