WWD and Beauty Inc will return to Los Angeles on March 26 for the fourth annual L.A. Beauty (LAB) forum, with speakers from L’Oréal, Target, Douglas and more.
Themed “Star Power: Innovation Influence and the It Factor,” key themes will examine how industry leaders are expanding the boundaries of beauty, forging new ground across channels, geographies and categories. The conference will be held at The 1 Hotel in West Hollywood.
As Los Angeles emerges from one of the most difficult years in its history and gears up for a cultural renaissance, from hosting the World Cup this spring to the opening of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s new David Geffen Galleries, speakers will share how they are harnessing the power of what’s next to drive innovation in an increasingly cluttered and complex environment.
Confirmed speakers include Silvia Galfo, president of L’Oréal Luxe USA; Emmy Award-winning makeup artist and founder of Half Magic Beauty Donni Davy; Stefanie von Albert, chief assortment and purchasing officer, Douglas Group; Katherine Power, founder and chairman of Merit and Versed and partner at Greycroft; Michael Toure, founder and chief executive officer Toure Capital; Jill Biren, founder, JB Skrub and Amanda Nusz, senior vice president, Target Corp., with more speakers to be announced in the days to come.
