Sisters of the Moment: Gigi and Bella Hadid

Gigi and Bella Hadid have more than just DNA in common. The bombshell beauties are both repped by IMG Models—Gigi, 19, signed in 2011 and Bella, 18, joined in August—and both girls made their runway debuts walking in Desigual shows. But it’s their Instagram prowess and exotic looks that propelled the sister act to fame. While Gigi is racking up Sports Illustrated spreads and Tom Ford campaigns, Bella is following in her footsteps with a feature in Teen Vogue and an event with Sportmax. “The fashion industry and the public have embraced them partly because they offer a refreshing change from the industry standard,” says Teen Vogue editor in chief Amy Astley. “They are chameleons of an indeterminate ethnicity and that is very attractive in this day and age. I predict continued success—I would bet on it!”
