The Judith Leiber brand is adding footwear to its collection.
Leiber is partnering with Paradox London for the creation of the JL by Judith Leiber footwear line. The collection will be first seen at the FN Platform in Las Vegas on Feb. 16 to 18, and will retail from $195 to $450.
The footwear line, which will be developed by Paradox London, will incorporate luxurious silks, dazzling crystals, classic metallic shades and textured glitter for fall. That collection will include pointed-toe silhouettes, peep-toe pumps and refined sandals, according to Judith Leiber.
ABG acquired Leiber in January 2013 for an undisclosed amount. The brand was acquired at the same time ABG took over the majority stake for Adrienne Vittadini and Taryn Rose. All three brands were from Schottenstein Luxury Group, which retained a minority interest in the brands.
“Judith Leiber is one of the most globally recognized luxury brands,” said Jamie Salter, chairman and chief executive officer of ABG. He said the modern influence on the brand extension is positioned to a “whole new generation of Judith Leiber fans.”
