Kylie Jenner
Kylie Jenner became a household name, along with her sisters, Khloé Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian and Kendall Jenner, on the E! reality television series "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." The show ran for 14 years, from 2007 to 2021, and was rebooted in 2022 as "The Kardashians" on Hulu.
Kylie Jenner was nine years old when the show first premiered, and later leveraged her reality-star status into Kylie Lip Kits, which launched in 2015. The products aimed to give users the enlarged lips Jenner had become known for (though later, she said her lips had been augmented).
The Lip Kits sold out quickly, though there were product quality complaints, and she transferred their viral success into a full-blown makeup business.
Now, as the fourth most followed person on Instagram with more than 399 million followers, Jenner has continued to expand her empire, launching Kylie Skin, Kylie Swim and Kylie Baby.
In 2021, she sold 51 percent of Kylie Cosmetics to beauty conglomerate Coty Inc. for $600 million.
In fashion, Jenner has a line with sister Kendall Jenner, called Kendall + Kylie, sold at Zappos, PacSun and Revolve. She also launched Khy in 2023 with puffer jackets, faux leather jackets and more.
Her own major style moments have come during fashion events, including Schiaparelli's spring 2023 couture show, where Jenner wore a faux lion's head shawl. She also made headlines at the 2022 Met Gala when she arrived in a ruffle skirt white bridal gown paired with a baseball cap from Off-White.
