Gigi Hadid
Gigi Hadid, born April 23, 1995, is a widely recognized model, television personality and entrepreneur. Hadid has been modeling since she was in diapers, appearing in Baby Guess advertisements at two years old before signing with IMG Models at 17 years old.
As one of the most followed supermodels on Instagram, Hadid has walked for Versace, Prada and Jacquemus, along with collaborating with Frankies Bikinis and Tommy Hilfiger on fashion collections. She was named global brand ambassador for Tommy Hilfiger in 2016.
Hadid is the daughter of Yolanda Hadid, who was a former Dutch model; sister Bella Hadid models too. Hadid’s father Mohammed Hadid is a renowned real estate developer in Los Angeles.
The model has also been the subject of viral fashion moments off of the runway, including her red latex Versace set and voluminous puffer coat ensemble at the 2022 Met Gala. That same year, she ventured further into fashion with the launch of her cashmere brand Guest In Residence.
“I decided that there was a niche for me, which was to offer this luxury item that I feel has a history of being made exclusive from this price point, and bring it to a place where everyone deserves a luxury item,” Hadid told WWD when the brand launched.
The knitwear label, which offers 100 percent cashmere pieces, has released multiple high-profile collaborations, including an exclusive capsule collection with LuisaViaRoma during Milan Fashion Week in 2023. That same year, Hadid debuted the Guest In Residence flagship store in New York, which channels a cozy theme with plush furnishings and decorative art pieces.
Hadid is also part of Netflix competition fashion series “Next in Fashion,” where she cohosts alongside “Queer Eye” star Tan France.
