Today’s Givenchy ticket extravaganza, in which 820 first-come, first-serve tickets to the French fashion house’s show to be held on Sept. 11 during New York Fashion Week were made available to the public as of 10 a.m., reached a full-on media frenzy, although sources could not confirm the exact metrics, including how many people have applied for tickets. As of this writing, Givenchy’s applications were still technically open on givenchynyfw15.com, where a note indicates that the first 410 “correctly completed registrations” — 410 because everyone gets to bring a guest — will be sent invitations to the show, though one can’t imagine that there are any left at this point. There are currently more than 120 Instagram photos under the hastag #GRTNYC17 — including four from Riccardo Tisci himself — most of which were posted by hopeful attendees.
