Duchess of Cambridge Wears Diane von Furstenburg Dress to Event

BACK TO BLACK: On Thursday night, the Duchess of Cambridge donned a black lace Diane von Furstenberg gown to attend the annual Royal Variety Performance in London. The show is a charity fundraiser, where this year One Direction, Bette Midler, and Ellie Goulding were set to perform. Shortly after their arrival at the event, which raises money for the Entertainment Artistes’ Benevolent Fund, the duke and duchess met the members of One Direction. The duchess is back full-steam on the royal events circuit, having sat out much of her public duties in September and October because of a temporary illness she suffered during the early stages of pregnancy  with her second child. Earlier this week, the duchess donned a belted Goat dress and Stuart Weitzman black boots to attend a SportsAid workshop in London. She is a patron of SoprtsAid, which helps aspiring athletes achieve their goals. During that visit, she met with Tokyo 2020 Olympic hopefuls.
