PARIS — Ralph Toledano has been reelected president of the Fédération Française de la Couture, du Prêt-à-Porter des Couturiers et des Créateurs de Mode. The president of Puig‘s fashion division has held the post since 2014, when he succeeded Didier Grumbach who remains honorary president.
The move was voted through unanimously at the federation’s general assembly on June 16 by its management board at the suggestion of its new executive committee, including Francesca Bellettini, chief executive officer of Saint Laurent, a newcomer; Bruno Pavlovsky, president of fashion at Chanel; Guillaume de Seynes, executive vice president of the manufacturing division and equity investments at Hermès International; Sidney Toledano, chief executive officer of Christian Dior, plus the Federation president and executive president, Toledano and Pascal Morand respectively.
At the meeting, the management board, which consists of 18 members, ranging from the chief executive officers of Christian Dior and Chanel fashion to the independent designer Isabel Marant, was also reelected. It has two newcomers: Michael Burke, Louis Vuitton chief executive and Nicolas Santi-Weil, Ami’s chief executive officer.
