LOS ANGELES — The battle to dress television’s top talent kicked off Thursday with the 57th annual Primetime Emmy Awards nominations, and designers and stylists have their work cut out for them.
ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” breathed some fresh air into the lead actress category with three nominees, and Patricia Arquette and Sandra Oh were new faces in the crowd. None of the women are strangers to the red carpet, but it will be interesting to see if any of them learn from past mistakes. And whose dress will showcase newlywed Jennifer Garner’s bump? Find out when the show is broadcast live on CBS at 8 p.m., Sept. 18, from the Shrine Auditorium here.
