A PRINCE’S POWER: The Duke of Cambridge will appear on the July cover of Attitude Magazine, a gay publication that will hit newsstands on June 22.
He is the first member of the British royal family to be in an LGBT magazine.
The Duke invited staff of the publication and LGBT community members to Kensington Palace to discuss issues, including bullying, last May.
The issue of bullying is an important topic for Prince William, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry, who formed Heads Together, a campaign that focuses on mental health and aims to prevent cyber bullying.
“No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives,” he told Attitude.
Yesterday, he joined the duchess and headed to the U.S. Embassy in London on Tuesday to sign a book of condolence for the victims of the shooting at an Orlando gay club, which took the lives of 50 people.
