DuJour Magazine has hired Leslie Farrand as its chief revenue officer.
Farrand comes to DuJour from The New Yorker, where she held the role of advertising director for nine months. Previously, Farrand worked at InStyle as associate publisher, a role she held for a year, and prior to that, she served as executive director of print and integrated sales at New York Magazine for about 10 years.
“DuJour has developed a solid reputation of innovative and forward thinking in the ever-changing media landscape,” said Ferrand, who will manage sales and marketing activities for the title.
“Leslie evolved the digital footprint during her time at New York Magazine that set the standard in the media industry,” added DuJour founder and chief executive officer Jason Binn. “Her cross-category relationships coupled with her expertise in selling innovative ad campaigns and maximizing revenue opportunities makes her an ideal fit for this role and we are looking forward to having her on board.”
