EBay named Paul Pressler to its board where he will serve on the audit, corporate governance and nominating committees.
Devin Wenig, president and chief executive officer of eBay, said as an independent director, Pressler “brings valuable experience managing major retail and consumer brands as well as significant leadership and financial expertise to eBay’s board.”
Pressler described eBay as an e-commerce pioneer “and a leading global commerce player.”
Pressler is a partner at private equity firm Clayton, Dubilier & Rice LLC. He also serves as chairman of David’s Bridal Inc. as well as SiteOne Landscape Supply Inc. Pressler is also on the board of The DryBar Inc. Prior to these roles, Pressler was president and ceo of Gap Inc. He also previously served in various roles at The Walt Disney Co.
