The Independent Cosmetic Manufacturers and Distributors Association (ICMAD) will host their inaugural health and wellness event, “Get With It…Get Healthy,” to benefit Look Good…Feel Better on Friday, Feb. 17, at the Balboa Bay Club in Newport Beach, Calif. The one-day event will take place the day after the ICMAD Technical Regulatory Forum and aims to have attendees adopt a fit and organized way of life that is compatible with today’s lifestyles, including healthy nutrition and exercise choices.
Celebrity fitness trainer Kathy Kaehler will host the day with three life-centric sessions. The first hour-long session begins at 10 a.m.; each costs $100 to attend. A package of all three is available for $275 and a portion of proceeds benefits the Look Good…Feel Better charity.
In addition, the Balboa Bay Club will host a Beauty Bar with nail, makeup, lash and skin stations at reduced costs to benefit the charity. Guests can also bid on an array of silent auction items throughout the day.
