BERLIN — Sebastian Professional is turning up the volume.
The brand’s latest Style Visionary, Maja Ivarsson, is the voice of Swedish new wave band The Sounds, and the face of a new line called Color Ignite. The range of four products, which launches in Europe this month, followed by the U.S., features shampoo and mousse conditioner for single- and multi-toned hair.
Suggested prices are 17.60 euros, or $24.09, at current exchange, for the shampoo, and 20.60 euros, or $28.20 for the conditioner.
Ivarsson and the band were recently in town to rock the house during the Mercedes- Benz Fashion Week Berlin runway show for Laurèl.
The animated singer’s attitude and Eighties-influenced tones — think Blondie or Missing Persons — were a good match for the royal blue and hot pink looks shown by the German label.
Said head designer Elisabeth Schwaiger: “Laurèl stands for color.”
