Brioni is introducing a limited edition, ultra luxury eyewear line as part of its 70th anniversary celebrations. Only 70 numbered pieces make up the Gold Edition 70 line of sunglasses, which were produced in-house and will retail at 7,950 euros, or about $8,835 at current exchange, per pair at select Brioni boutiques.
With 18-carat white gold frames and horn temples with the Brioni logo, the sunglasses also feature polarized, nonglare platinum lenses treated with hydro-oleophobic coating, and come with a handcrafted Nubuck leather case in a bitter chocolate shade.
This is the first of a series of limited edition projects Brioni creative director Brendan Mullane has lined up for 2015.
