On Aug. 16, global apparel retailer UNIQLO announced its latest collaboration collection with lifestyle icon and symbol of French chic Ines de la Fressange.
The UNIQLO / INES DE LA FRESSANGE 2021 Fall/Winter collection presents LifeWear that reflects Ines’ belief in bringing “effortless French style” to the world.
Rossinière is known for the Grand Chalet villa, the historical cultural heritage site that was the final abode of the late artist Balthus, and also the place where Ines spends her Christmas holidays.
The inspiration for the 2021 Fall/Winter collection was the Swiss village of Rossinière, beloved by artists for its beautiful mountain scenery.
A comfortable wardrobe with a hint of nostalgia is ideally suited to a relaxing holiday in such bountiful nature.
This season’s collection once more delivers the sophisticated and relaxed stylings characteristic of Ines.
The collection includes items with check patterns or lovely small floral accents.
Small items such as berets and reusable shopping bags in a wide variation of patterns are also included
The word ‘cozy’ is appropriate for this new lineup that radiates nostalgia and warmth. From a base of beige moss-green earth tones, the many items offer an expanded range of stylings such as cashmere blend knit ponchos, and 3D Knit dresses with a simple yet shapely and attractive silhouette.
The new Lifewear collection offers ensemble knits in a gorgeous lambswool material, and a characteristically Ines style of masculine jacket.
