    The second annual Supima Design Lab exhibition took place during Paris Fashion Week at Hôtel de Talleyrand this week showcasing exclusive fashions created by designers and brands exclusively using Supima fabric.

    The event also featured silhouettes created by the winners of the 2019 Hyères Fashion & Photography festival, and outfits designed by the winner and finalists of the 2019 Supima Design Competition, all graduates from U.S. design schools.

    The designers and brands involved in the Supima Design Lab included Botter, designed by Rushemy Botter and Lisi Herrebrugh; Guy Laroche, designed by Richard René; Lutz Huelle; Maison Chateigner, designed by Sylvie Chateigner; Martin Grant; and Rahul Mishra.

    Supima Design Competition winners and emerging talents from America’s top design schools showing their creations, all created with a range of Supima fabrics, were competition winner Gina Zinan Guo of Philadelphia’s Drexel University; Linh La of Academy of Art University in San Francisco; Illene Martoseno of the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising in Los Angeles; Ishwari Vijh from New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology; Shuxian Kong from Ohio’s Kent State University; Andrew Kwon of Parsons School of Design in New York; Isabel Hajian of the Rhode Island School of Design; and Yoohyeon Kim from Savannah College of Art and Design.
