On Thursday, the Spain-based retailer launched a women’s capsule collection with 170-year-old heritage apparel label Fruit of the Loom.
A matching bralette and high-waisted panty set feature elasticized waist and bust bands bearing the brand’s name.
Many items showcase Fruit of the Loom’s most recognized vintage logo, with a collection of colorful fruit, like apples and grapes, at its center.
The limited-edition collection is available at Zara stores worldwide and on the retailer’s website, with styles ranging from $19.90 to $39.90.
Garments were made with at least 15 percent recycled cotton, making use of production waste from other garments and reducing dependence on virgin, raw material, the company wrote.
“Zara’s use of our logo from the 80s and 90s, modernized with bright colors, is a wonderful tribute to the fun, optimistic spirit Fruit of the Loom embodies,” Karen Kendrick, Fruit of the Loom’s vice president of communications and creative services, said in a statement.
Focused on comfy, casual staples tailor made for spring lounging at home, the line of garments includes round and V-neck T-shirts, ribbed-trim sweatshirts, shorts and high-waisted lounge pants in cheerful bright pink, chartreuse, lemon yellow and classic white.
