"I'm obsessed with Killing Eve. Everyone loves a thriller but this one puts women center stage (the enthusiastic assassin Villanelle, the MI5 Operative Eve and her boss are all played by women). I wasn't surprised when its writer, woman-of-the-moment Phoebe Waller Bridge was hired to polish the script of the new Bond movie, due to premier in spring 2020. I started to think about the wardrobe for a spy thriller that has yet to be made; a spy thriller where the action adventuress is an intelligent and glamorous woman. More Modesty Blaise than Bond." - Ian Griffiths, creative director of Max Mara

"Sailing, a new sense of freedom, movement and comfort which comes from the see. Key message: to feel free and positive with body and mind. The keywords defying the attitude of this new feeling are lightness, fluidity, transparency, movement and femininity. The concept is interpreted through the clear contrasts of the tailoring, the delicacy of the blouses and dresses with soft colored prints, like faded or bleached by the sun." - Grazia Malagoli, fashion director of Sportmax

ÒThe new 1910 Borbonese woman is an ÔarborealÕ figure, on high heels, with a sun-reflecting screen around her neck to grasp even the weakest ray of light, extreme flashes making her look even taller, swimsuits and succinct frocks showing her better self, metallic sunglasses protecting the eyes. Wild and inflexible, sheÕs wrapped up in a trench coat and she wears a bathrobe as a an overcoat.Ó Ð co-designer Dorian Tarantini

ÒA woman who loves suede, printed with hyper realistic cactus and leaf motifs on double-breasted suits. Dramatic blouses, strong dresses. ÒHavana, Cuba is a focus for the inspiration. The colorful street art and colonial architecture, the cheerfulness of those who devote themselves to the music and the buildings made of reused tiles and concrete. I incorporated the Cuban culture and the atmosphere of the unusual blend of past and present, which has taken root in the land and history into the Anteprima spring 2020 collection. The collection delivers the merging of diverse cultures, creating an eclectic mix of unique identities and styles. As Ernest Hemingway said: ÔNo one you love is ever truly lost,Õ or ÔDare to dream. Live on purposeÕ.ÓÊÐ Izumi Ogino, creative director of Anteprima

ÒThe spring collection pays homage to my grandmother. A romantic archivist of textiles and collector of traditional ceramics who [was] born in Transylvania, escaped from the war and then moved to Austria, maintaining a sentimental vision of her homeland throughout all her life. The collection is a consideration about a European woman who has seen and lived worlds that now belong to modern history. The poetics of memory softens the female figure in my universe, adding new details and facets.Ó - Arthur Arbesser

ÊÒThe collection expresses wide scenarios and spaces in a world extremely hectic and digitalized. The need to preserve a part of nature becomes more and more essential and significant for todayÕs woman, through natural beauty and sensorial experiences. Inspired by the deserts and the dreams found again in the heart of a Moroccan souk, the collection wraps us with its sensuality. The colonial accents embellish classic silhouettes, sorbet colors reawaken the senses while the essential aesthetic and the ikat prints enable to preserve Maghrebi traditional textile techniques. The inspiration of craftsmanship and fusion of multicultural elements convey a modern yet classic touch to the collection, in a play balancing old and new: the kaftan is paired with a bomber jacket, the manÕs suit is a as fluid as a womanÕs frock.Ó -ÊIoanna Solea, head of womenswear at Nemozena

ÊÒThis is going to be our Þrst spring collection under the new style. We have already decided that MSM is timeless, ageless and effortless. Three word we have heard over and over again in fashion. It might be our mantra, at the same time as we are digging deeper in our archives for this season. Mila Schšn always did it her way and trusted her instincts. That's what I believe in and will move forward with. The inspiration is taken from a couple of wonderful drawings from the Sixties. The colors are what feels right for next spring. Colonial and ivory together with jewel tones of emerald and amethyst. Graphic communication in a logo found on a Seventies belt. Love it!ÊSilhouettes are straight forward with dresses as the main focus. Both for day and evening. Easy coats and jackets in featherlight cashmere with the same idea in Þne sweaters. A slow builded wardrobe and style. We love Mila!Ó - Gunn Johansson, creative director of Mila Schšn
