Image Credit: Kuba Dabrowski/WWD Mark Carrasquillo, worked with Nars Cosmetics said he intended to bring young-girl makeup to a new level. “We wanted the girl to kind of feel like a part of a convent or a tribe of girls,” said Carrasquillo. “There are all these girls together and they’re doing their own thing. It’s not about being pretty, it’s more about being a little bit aggressive. For me, it’s like a grumpy girl – a little bit grumpy and a bit in herself. She picks up her black kohl and runs it under her eye.” He kept skin clean, aiming for the barest complexion. He prepped skin and applied Multi-Action Hydrating Toner. Eyes were the focus for Carrasquillo and he used Black Valley Eyeliner Pencil and Black Valley Eye Paint. He took the liner and swept a straight line across the lower lash line and as close to the lashes as possible. Brows were brushed up and not filled in while lips were scrubbed bare.

Spring 2018 Hairstyles From Fashion Week: J.W. Anderson
Image Credit: Kuba Dabrowski/WWD “The inspiration was a very naive hairstyle but on a very un-naive girl,” said hairstylist Anthony Turner, using KMS hair products. “She’s kind of a good girl gone bad. It just felt quite witchy.” Models were given a rough side-parting with stylists using hands in place of brushes for a more natural look. For mid-lengths, hair was sprayed, then sectioned off, lifted then sprayed again. He let the tresses go and then sprayed once more. He applied Sea Salt Spray on damp hair – just on the top – and dragged it out with his fingers. Once hair was sufficiently dried, he used Makeover Spray through hair and ends for a grungy volume. He used a bobby pin to secure the front for that young school girl style and the KMS dry shampoo for a fluffy fly-away look.
