“I’m very focused on [Futura’s] inclusion and placement to American institutions,” says gallerist Eric Firestone, adding that the artist was pivotal to the evolution of the graffiti and street art movement in New York.
Futura’s work often features futuristic imagery suggesting perpetual motion, such as atoms and gears.
