Sang A: Sang A Im-Propp took an artful approach with bags based on her personal work — her artwork became a linear print and words she penned in Sharpie appeared across a silver bag.
Marc Alary: At his first NYFW presentation, Marc Alary showed a stunning twisted gold group as well as his unique animal motifs that featured, for instance, descending-sized elephants on a necklace and a ring with a moveable monkey.
Dannijo: At Danielle and Jodie Snyder’s Dannijo presentation, American Ballet Theatre members danced around a boxing ring bedecked in their elaborate crystal jewelry.
Delfina Delettrez: Making an appearance at Dover Street Market New York for her spring launch, Delfina Delettrez also offered a peek at her fall jewelry that features a new ear cuff style.
Deszos: Deszos’ Sara Beltran recruited her shaman from Mexico and her guru from India to wear her latest collection of fine jewelry based on a series of the designer’s ink drawings of palm trees.
Campbell: Designer Michelle Campbell Mason took her inspiration from iconic architecture such as the Chrysler and Empire State Buildings, which translated into graphic, sharp angles on rings and necklaces.
Eugenia Kim: Milliner Eugenia Kim took a second go at shoes (she briefly had a collection in 2005) with a line of flats, pumps and boots accented with fur and pearls.
Chloe Gosselin: Newcomer Chloe Gosselin’s first collection of pumps and booties incorporated men’s wear motifs such as a classic shirt collar on the ankle of a boot.
Feed: Lauren Bush’s philanthropic Feed bags have been available in canvas and burlap. For fall, she introduced a leather group, some of which are embellished in African beading.
Henri Lepore Dezert: Newcomer Henri Lepore Dezert has expanded his bespoke shoe business this season, offering wholesale for his Italian hand-crafted shoes.
Karen Gallo: Launching her first collection during NYFW, Karen Gallo showed a modern luxe line of mostly leather and calf-skin accessories, such as this sleek backpack.
Alejandro Ingelmo: Recently, Alejandro Ingelmo’s SoHo store was ruined by a burst water pipe, so the designer paired with artist Mark Fox to show his sexy and graphic shoes at the Robert Miller Gallery.
Kotur: Fiona Kotur’s collection has expanded to include loafers as well as a square-shape bag called the Fitzgerald and a rectangular one, named the Merrick.
M2Malletier: Barcelona-based Melissa Losada and Marcela Velez introduced mini versions of their M2Malletier clutches, shown here in crocodile, worked in distinct hardware.
Newbark: Sisters Maryam and Marjan Malakpour started their Los Angeles-based Newbark collection in 2009 with chic slippers and expanded it for fall with fur-lined mules and a calf hair satchel.
Paul Andrew: Paul Andrew’s collection was rich with texture and detail, such as a buffalo-plaid wool pump, suede shoe with zipper detail and these electric-blue calf hair booties.
Rauwolf: Kristine Johannes expanded her Rauwolf line of Plexiglass evening bags with intricate Art Deco-inspired styles that are as much bags as they are objets d’art.
Rene Caovilla: Rene Caovilla’s Edoardo Caovilla greeted fans on Bergdorf Goodman’s designer shoe floor to fete (and sell) the house’s 80th-anniversary collection created exclusively for the store.
Sequin: Costume jewelry line Sequin showed its Art Deco-inspired collection at its New York showroom.
Sigerson Morrison: Sigerson Morrison’s fall collection included shoes with a men’s wear edge.
Yestadt Millinery: Designer Molly Yestadt showed a charming collection of fedoras, knit hats and baseball caps, often bedecked with bows and fur; she also introduced gloves this season.
