Camilla Elphick was nostalgic and harked back to dreamy fairytales and childhood stories for fall. “What is quite nice is that with each shoe, the wearer can interpret themselves to a story that you think of as soon as you see it,” said Elphick. While the collection had child-like references, the range felt more grown up. The brand who is known for its party pieces, also introduced more daywear styles into the range. “I really wanted to have things that you can wear every time, every day,” said the London-based designer. Satin bows which she added to pointy toe boots, reminded the designer of “The Princess and the Pea” while ankle-length boots featured a Bambi print. She experimented with laser cutting on a heart print on the heel of brown thigh-high boots or on a pattern of hearts interlocking seen on black heeled sandals. There was also sparkly glitter and shine seen on a a pinky lilac pump – fit for a princess. – Lorelei Marfil
