Collection naively places hardware on the clothing questioning materials in the fashion context as well as each person’s interpretation. Art Brut is a term derived from Jean Dubuffet, who was classically untrained and he used raw materials, such as sand to represent the grit of war. It refers to art made in a naïve, untrained way — kind of like Folk Art. Today, the term art brut is also referred to as outsider art.” — Elizabeth Hilfiger, Foo & Foo
