The styling preference of choice in London was sheer overlays — dresses, tops and skirts — worn over basic silhouettes that rounded out looks and provided a nonchalant sense of cool. Sharon Wauchob’s flowy floral-embroidered slip was the perfect example of laid-back chic, while Joseph’s high-collar number straddled the line of sporty and refined. Erdem Moralioglu sent out more traditional takes with lots of ribbon fastening, while Ashley Williams and Marques’Almeida grounded their blouses featuring billowing sleeves with denim and trousers, respectively.
