Fashion plays a big role in “Kuu Kuu Harajuku,” which was co-created and produced by Gwen Stefani. Always influenced by the street style and youth culture in Tokyo’s Harajuku neighborhood, she’s used the Harajuku Girls’ initials to name her fashion label L.A.M.B. She also had another line called Harajuku Lovers.
G, as seen in this sketch, and the Harajuku Girls will be the most stylish cartoon characters on Nickelodeon. While the network is credited for introducing Ariana Grande, Keke Palmer, Victoria Justice and Miranda Cosgrove in its live-action TV shows, its most famous animated denizen wears a red tie and brown pants — SpongeBob Squarepants.
