A friend’s introduction to Gia Bahm, the founder of New York-based Unearthen, led Erin Fetherston to create a five-piece collaboration. The necklace, cocktail ring, headband, barrette and earrings are priced from $200 to $500. Fetherston plans to begin selling them a month after her Sept. 11 runway show at New York Fashion Week.

“I wanted to find a really lightweight wide-leg jean that I could wear in the hot summer and not feel like it was elasticized or tight,” said Erin Fetherston. The failure to find a pair in a gentle vintage wash resulted in a denim capsule collection with Parker Smith, which makes all of its products in Southern California.

Retailing for under $150, Erin Fetherston’s designs for Tkees will go on sale in October as part of her see-now-buy-now initiative. She’s a big fan of the shoes. “I know they’re flip-flops,” she said. “I personally like the lightness of that on my foot.”
